Karen Thomas Stefano is a JD/MBA with more than thirty years of complex litigation experience, advocating for her clients in state and federal courts throughout the United States. She has tried more than thirty cases to verdict as sole lead trial counsel.

Karen’s practice involves all aspects of business litigation, including securities issues, anti-competitive activity, contracts, employment, and civil litigation. She also served as Director of the Consumer Protection Policy Center at the University of San Diego School of Law, focusing on regulatory law and the public interest.

​

Karen has authored three books and her articles have appeared in numerous magazines and journals, including the American Bar Association Journal, the Los Angeles Daily Journal, California Lawyer, and more.
